CXCL1, also known as Gro and KC, is an 8kD cytokine which is expressed predominantly by monocytes after activation, but is also expressed by fibroblasts, endothelial cells, synovial cells and several tumor cell lines. CXCL1 promotes neutrophil chemotaxis and degranulation.

Recommended Dilution	ELISA: 0.15-0.30 ug/ml
	Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml

Storage and Stability	Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding 1ml sterile PBS, 0.1% BSA. For long term storage add 0.09% sodium azide, aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
