| CXCL16 is a recently discovered alpha chemokine (CXC) which also has characteristics of CC chemokines and a structure similar to Fractalkine. It may also play a role in attracting activated lymphocyte subsets during in ammation and may assist immune responses. Recombinant Murine CXCL16 is a 9.9kDa protein containing 88 amino acid residues. | | | Catalog # | C8298-05 | | AA Sequence | NQGSVAGSCD RTISSGTQIP QGTLDHIRKY LKAFHRCPFF IRFQLQSKSV CGGSQDQWVR ELVDCFERKE CGTGHGKSFH HQKHLP | | Source | E. coli | | Purity | 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses | | Endotoxin | 0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug) | | Biological Activity | Determined by its ability to chemoattract murine lymphocytes using a concentration of 20-1000ng/ml. | | Reconstitution | We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or stored at -20°C for future use. | | Storage and Stability | The lyophilized protein is stable for a few weeks at room temperature, but best stored at -20°C. Reconstituted murine CXCL16 should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C. | | Country of Origin | USA | | Molecular Weight | 9.9kDa | | Source | E. coli | | Form | The sterile ltered solution was lyophilized from 10mM HoAc. | | | Important Note | This product is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications. |
