| Chemokine receptors are G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) that play a key role in inflammation and are characterized by similar sequences with a 4 cysteine motif. The C-C receptors are important in the function of T cell chemotaxis and migration of phagocytic cells to sites of inflammation. Receptors for the C-C chemokine family include CCR-1, CCR-2A, CCR-3, CCR-4, CCR-5 and the Duffy blood group antigen. | | | Catalog # | C8350-01B | | Cellular Localization | Cell membrane | | Positive Control | Human peripheral blood cells or paraffin sections of spleen. | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry (paraffin-embedded sections) and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Polyclonal | | Isotype | IgG | | Host | Goat | | Source | Human | | Concentration | As reported | | Form | 10 mM potassium dibasic phosphate, 140 mM sodium chloride, [pH7.2] | | Purity | Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | A synthetic peptide [SNYYLYESIPKPCTKEGIKAFGE] corresponding to amino acids 17-39 of the extracellular domain of human CCR4. | | Specificity | Peptide sequence is < 50% identical to other human chemokine receptors in this region.
