Cyclins are regulatory subunits of the cyclin-dependent kinases (cdk’s). They are expressed temporally to control transition at different specific phases of the cell cycle. In mammalian somatic cells, cyclin A is required for S-phase and passage through G2-phase.

Applications and Recommended Dilutions	Western Blotting (Ab 5-10ug/ml for 2hrs at RT)
	Immunoprecipitation (Denatured verified) (Use Protein A) (Ab 10ug/mg protein lysate)
	Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin) ( Ab-6 is better) (Ab 5-10ug/ml for 30 min at RT) ** [Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.] The optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined by the investigator.

Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at-20°C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at-20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
