| In mammals, cyclin B associates with inactive p34cdc2. Cyclin B-p34cdc2 plays a critical role in G2 to M transition. | | | Catalog # | C8453-10 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Not suitable for use in Immunoprecipation. Other applications have not been tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml for 2 hrs at RT. | | Immunohistochemistry (formalin/paraffin) | 1-2ug/ml for 30 min at RT. | | Note: Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Positive Control | Jurkat cells; tonsil or breast carcinoma | | Cellular Localization | Cytoplasmic | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG1 | | Clone No | V152 | | Host | Mouse | | Source | Hamster | | Concentration | ~0.2mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in 10mM PBS, pH 7.4, 0.2% BSA, 0.09% sodium azide. Also available without BSA and azide. See C8453-10X. | | Purity | Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Hamster cyclin B1 protein | | Specificity | Recognizes hamster Cyclin B1 at 62kD.
