Clone Host Grade Applications
Monoclonal Mouse Purified B IP IH IF
Cyclin D1 is a 36kD nuclear protein. The cell cycle in eukaryotic cells is mediated by the formation, activation, and deactivation of complexes containing Cyclin-Dependent Kinases (CDK) and cyclins. D-type cyclins usually associate with CDK4 (p34 PSK-J3 ); however, complexes with CDK2 and CDK5 have also been reported. (2) D-type cyclins are necessary for cells to achieve the G1 to S transition in the cell cycle. (3) The D-type cyclins have been shown to associate with PCNA, retinoblastoma gene product, p21, and other proteins.
