| Cyclophilin C (CyPC, also Rotamase C and peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase C) is a 17-23kD member of the cyclophilin-type PPIase family of molecules. It is known to be a Mg2+-dependent intracellular enzyme that can degrade DNA into 50 kb fragments. It also has the potential to interact extracellularly with OPN and activate CD147/EMMPRIN. Human CyPC is 212aa in length. It contains one cyclophilin type PPIase domain (aa41-198). Over aa31-182, human CyPC shares 95aa identity with mouse CyPC, 59%, 79%, 58% aa identity with human CyPA, B and D, respectively. | | | Catalog # | C8855-19 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot.
