Applications	Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution	Immunoprecipitation: 1:100,000-1:400,000. Against 5-Methyl Cytosine (5-MeC) and bromodeoxyuridine (BrdU) or control (no antigen) assayed by A405 spectrophotometry, at dilution of 1:300,000 there is a 6 fold higher reactivity with 5-MeC versus BrdU and titers out at 1:1,500,000.
	Immunohistochemistry: 1:200 Positive IHC staining of Rat 1a neuron cells. Block with PBS, 2% BSA, 0.1% Tween-20. Incubate 4°C overnight. Cells must first be permeabilized for the antibody to get to the nucleus.
	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
