Keratin 20 represents an excellent marker for certain carcinomas such as adenocarcinoma of the colon, transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder and Merkel cell skin tumors. The antibody can be used in the detection of intestinal and gastric foveolar epitheli­um, urothelial cells and Merkel cells of the epidermis as well as tumors of their origin (e.g. primary and metastatic colorectal cancer). Adenocarcinomas of the breast and lung also neuroendocrine tumors of the lung are essentially negative.

Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
