| This antibody is useful to determine if a neoplasm originated from a certain type of epithelial source. Cytokeratin 8 exists on several types of normal and neoplastic epithelia , including many ductal and glanular epithelia such as colon, gastric, small intestine, tracheal, esophageal and transitional epithelium. This antibody may be useful for distinction of metastatic malignant tumors of these epithelial origin. | | | Catalog # | C9097-42D | | Applications | Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Immunohistochemistry: Formalin- xed paraf n-embedded or frozen tissue sections. Pepsin digestion or heat induced antigen recovery procedure is required for speci c staining of formalin- xed paraf n-embedded tissue sections. To stain, incubate 30–60 minutes at RT or overnight at 4°C.
