Cytokeratin Type II constitutes the Type II intermediate filaments (IFs) of the intracytoplasmatic cytoskeleton, which is present in all mammalian epithelial cells. The type 2 cytokeratins consist of basic or neutral, high molecular weight proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic Type I and Type II keratin chains in vivo, coexpressed during differentiation of simple and stratified epithelial tissues.

ApplicationsSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot, Cell sorting and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionImmunohistochemistry (frozen tissue and cytological material): 10-20ug/ml; dilute with PBS, pH 7.4; Incubation Time: 1 hr at RT.

Biotin Coupling Ratio5mol Biotin/1mol IgG.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
