| DDX5, otherwise known as p68 RNA helicase, a nuclear protein and member of the DEAD box protein family which exhibit RNA-dependent ATPase activity, and play important roles in RNA metabolism/ function, including pre-mRNA splicing, RNA translation, RNA synthesis and the assembly of RNP complexes.
