ApplicationsSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionImmunohistochemistry (parrafin): Does not require protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections e.g. trypsin or pronase prior to staining. Requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

ImmunogenSynthetic peptide corresponding to sequence within the C terminal domain of human DAZL (CRVHHFRRSRAMLKSV). In adult germ cells, the expression of DAZL is localized to the cytoplasm.
SpecificityRecognizes human DAZL, a member of the DAZ (deleted in azoospermia) family of RNA binding proteins. DAZL is expressed in fetal and adult testes and ovaries, and is believed to play a role in germ cell development. Species crossreactivity: mouse and rat.
