| Desmopressin also called ADH (Anti-Diuretic Hormone) has a molecular formula of C46H64N14O12S2 , Mpr-Tyr-Phe-Gln-Asn-Cys-Pro-D-Arg-Gly-NH2 having a Mw of 1069.23 is the first vasopressin analog with a very high and very specific antidiuretic effect, has been widely used for different therapeutic purposes and is believed to be partly responsible for the formation of memories learning and memory processes. Desmopressin increases urine concentration and decreases urine production.
