A standard methods medium for dairy products testing.
Dextrose Phosphate Broth is a modification of yeast autolysate agar. The addition of dibasic sodium phosphate is used to control hydrogen ion concentration which is produced during the utilization of dextrose. Low pH is inhibitory to Brucella.
