Description	Dextrose Tryptone Broth is a non-selective medium which can support the growth of a variety of mesophilic and thermophilic microorganisms. It contains the pH indicator bromcresol purple. Inoculated filter membranes are incubated on this medium at 55°C to detect and enumerate thermophilic "flat sour" sporulating microorganisms. Isolation and enumeration of “flat-sour” thermophiles and mesophiles in food by membrane filter technique.
