Dopamine-beta--hydroxylase (DBH) is the enzyme responsible for conversion of dopamine to noradrenaline. Tissue specificity consists of chromaffin granules of the adrenal medulla and synaptic vesicles of the sympathetic nervous system. It exists as both, a soluble and membrane-bound form in chromaffin granules.

Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
