Applications	Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunopreciptiation, Immunohistochemistry, and ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution	Western Blot: 1-10ug/ml using ECL. An antibody raised against a similar peptide has been shown to react with a broad 80kD band in rat striatum (2) and not cerebellum. Rat DAT contains various carbohydrate moieties and neuraminidase and N-Glycanase treatment reduces its molecular weight to about 55kD.
	Immunoprecipitation: 2-10ug
	Immunohistochemistry: 2-10ug/ml on frozen sections of tissues fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde (2).
	ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml using 1ug/ml of DAT control peptide per well.
	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
