SLE is a flavivirus producing severe encephalitis in humans. The viral envelope contains a single glycoprotein serving as a major structural component of the virion spike.

Hybridoma	Spleen cells from immunized mice were fused with cells of the SP2/0 Ag 14 myeloma cell line.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
