| Aminopeptidase that plays a central role in peptide trimming, a step required for the generation of most HLA class I-binding peptides. Peptide trimming is essential to customize longer precursor peptides to fit them to the correct length required for presentation on MHC class I molecules. Preferentially hydrolyzes the basic residues Arg and Lys. | | | Catalog # | E2291-58A | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | ELISA: 1:16,000 | | Western Blot: 0.5-1.5ug/ml, observed in human spleen lysates on ~110kD bands | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Polyclonal | | Host | Goat | | Source | Human | | Concentration | ~0.5mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA. | | Purity | Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-QYLKKFSYRNAKND, from human ERAP2, at the internal region of the protein (NP_071745.1). | | Specificity | Recognizes human ERAP2. Species sequence homology: Bovine and canine. | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
