Applications	Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution	Immunohistochemistry: 1:20 works well on acetone fixed or unfixed cryostat sections, and periodate/lysine/paraformaldehyde-fixed sections, in which membrane antigens and the structures of vessels and adjacent tissues are optimally preserved.
	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Immunogen	Endothelium
Specificity	Recognized the human Endothelium. Stains all human blood vessels including brain microvessels. Both large and small vessels are equally reactive. Strongly stains murine fibroblasts transfected with the human CD31 gene. On surface-iodinated Jurkat T cells, recognizes the 130kD CD31 antigen. No other structures in the skin, heart, kidney, tonsils or spleen are stained. Species Crossreactivity: Guinea-pig, feline. Does not react with rabbit, bovine, sheep, dog, rat or mice endothelial cells.
