| Epithelial cell adhesion molecule (Ep-CAM) is a 34kD cell surface antigen otherwise known as CD326, MOC31 and Ber-EP4. CD326 is a type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein. It is expressed on the basolateral cell membrane of the majority of epithelial tissues, with the exception of adult squamous epithelium, hepatocytes and gastric epithelial cells. Ep-CAM expression has been reported to be a possible marker of early malignancy, with expression being increased in tumor cells. | | | Catalog # | E3405-50A | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Flow Cytometry: Neat; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
