| Erythromycin is produced by a strain of Streptomyces erythraeus and belongs to the macrolide group of antibiotics. It is basic and readily forms salts with acids but it is the base which is microbiologically active. | | | Catalog # | E3454 | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | ELISA: 1:1500. Unpuri ed ascites may occasionally have brin present. In order to remove the brin, the ascites can be spun down. This will not affect its performance in ELISA.
