| Erythropoietin, ~34-36kD, normally produced in the kidney and liver, is the principle hormone involved in the regulation of erythrocyte differentiation and the maintenance of a physiological level of circulating erythrocyte mass. Indicated for treatment of neutropenia or anemia secondary to ZDV- or Ganciclovir-induced bone marrow suppression (most effective in patients with endogenous EPO levels < 500 IU/ml). | | | Catalog # | E3455-07A1 | | Dimers and Aggregates | 1% as determined by silver stained SDS-PAGE gel analysis. | | Biological Activity | Fully biologically active when compared to standard. | | Specific Activity (Normocythaemic mice) | ~120,000 IU/mg. | | Storage and Stability | Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at -70°C.
