Erythropoietin Precursor, Epoetin

Erythropoietin is the principal hormone involved in the regulation of erythrocyte differentiation and the maintenance of a physiological levels of circulating erythrocyte mass. It is often used as a drug to treat anemia.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Functional Assays, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 15ug/ml ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Recombinant protein corresponding to human Erythropoietin expressed in CHO cells.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, <5% trehalose.

Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography. |Endotoxin: <0.1EU/ug (LAL)

Recognizes human Erythropoietin.
