Estradiol is a steroid hormone secreted by developing follicles of the ovary. The determination of estradiol concentrations in the body uids is of great value for endocrinological investigations in women.

Recommended DilutionOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityFor long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at 4°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.
