Clone Host Grade Applications
Monoclonal Rat Affinity Purified IH FC
Mouse ER-HR3 is a cell surface antigen which is expressed by Langerhans cells in epithelium, a subset of mature macrophages and dendritic cells that are located predominantly in hematopoietic and lymphoid organs. Approximately 30% of bone
marrow cells express the antigen. Other ER-HR3 positive macrophages can be found in the splenic red pulp, in the
mesenteric lymphoid paracortex, interfollicular areas of Peyer’s patches and bone marrow. Few ER-HR3 positive
cells are observed in the thymic cortex and the connective tissues of the gastro-intestinal tract, the dermis and the
renal medulla. Epidermal Langerhans cells also express the antigen.
Catalog #E3566
ApplicationsSuitable for use in Flow cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended DilutionsFlow cytometry: 1:10-1:50
Immunohistochemistry: frozen
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
HybridomaHybridization of P3-X63-Ag8.563 myeloma cells with spleen cells from immunized rats.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
