ER-HR3 is a cell surface antigen which is expressed by Langerhans cells in epithelium, a subset of mature macrophages and dendritic cells that are located predominantly in hematopoietic and lymphoid organs. Initial studies of ER-HR3 demonstrated expression on peripheral blood monocytes but recent studies suggest that expression is actually very low. During fetal development, ER-HR3 positive cells are localized to hemapoietic islands and are often associated with erythroid progenitor cells. The functions of the ER-HR3 antigen have not been established but reports suggest that the antigen may be involved in adult erythropoiesis and in the regulation of the immune response.

Recommended DilutionFlow Cytometry: Neat; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
