Specifications

Human Exodus-2 (SLC, 6Cytokine and TCA-4) is in the CC chemokine family. It is similar to Exodus-1 (MIP-3 alpha/LARC) and has been shown to inhibit hemopoiesis while stimulating chemotaxis. Recombinant human Exodus-2 is a 12.2kDa protein containing 111 amino acid residues.

Stability	Stable for a several weeks at room temperature, but best stored-20°C. Reconstituted Exodus-2 should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C.

Reconstitution	We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in water to a concentration of 0.1–1.0mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for future use.
Biological Activity	Determined by its ability to chemoattract total lymphocyte population using a concentration range of 10–100ng/ml.
