BRCA1-associated C-terminal helicase1 (BACH1) is a 82kD nuclear transcription regulatory protein belonging to the bZIP family. BACH1 contains basic leucine zipper and BTB-zinc finger domains which are directly involved in DNA binding and for Transcription regulation. BACH1 is found in a wide range of tissues and acts as a transcriptional regulator. It plays an important role in the coordination of transcription activation and repression by MAFK.

Recommended DilutionsImmunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 5ug/ml Requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining paraffin sections. Sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0 is recommended.
