Members of the F-box protein family, such as FBXO31, are characterized by an approximately 40-amino acid F-box motif. SCF complexes, formed by SKP1 (MIM 601434), cullin (see CUL1; MIM 603134), and F-box proteins, act as protein-ubiquitin ligases. F-box proteins interact with SKP1 through the F box, and they interact with ubiquitination targets through other protein interaction domains (Jin et al., 2004 [PubMed 15520277]).

Recommended Dilutions
	Peptide ELISA Titer: 1:32,000
	Western Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml ~75kD band observed in lysates of cell line KELLY (calculated MW of 60.7kD according to NP_079011.3). The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings in literature with different antibodies (Kumar et al, Cancer Res. 2005 Dec 15;65(24):11304-13; PMID: 16357137).
	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
