| FEN1 is a member of the XPG/RAD2 endonuclease family which has an important role in lagging strand DNA synthesis and base excision repair. It is hypothesised that FEN1 may play a role in the inhibltion of triplet repeat expansion. | | | Catalog # | F0047-01 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Immunoprecipitation: 4ug/mg | | Western Blot: 1:5000-1:30,000 | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Polyclonal | | Isotype | IgG | | Host | Rabbit | | Source | Human | | Concentration | ~1mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in Tris-citrate/phosphate, pH 7.5, 0.09% sodium azide. | | Purity | Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Synthetic peptide corresponding to a region within the N terminal domain of human FEN1 (locus link ID 2237). | | Specificity | Recognizes human FEN1. | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. | | Alternate names | EC=3.1.-.- |
