Fibrillin-3 is a recently described part of the Fibrillin family of glycoproteins, which are essential factors in the formation and maintenance of elastic fibers known as microfibrils within the extracellular matrix. It is very similar in organization and function to Fibrillin-1 and Fibrillin-2. Localization of Fibrillin-3 has been found in cultured skin fibroblasts along with several other cell and tissue types. Highest expression has been noted in brain, fetal lung and kidney with significantly smaller signals seen in throughout adult tissues. (Corson, 2004).

	Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution	Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:100

Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
