| Fibrillin-3 is a recently described part of the Fibrillin family of glycoproteins, which are essential factors in the formation and maintenance of elastic fibers known as microfibrils within the extracellular matrix. It is very similar in organization and function to Fibrillin-1 and Fibrillin-2. Localization of Fibrillin-3 has been found in cultured skin fibroblasts along with several other cell and tissue types. Highest expression has been noted in brain, fetal lung and kidney with significantly smaller signals seen in throughout adult tissues. (Corson, 2004). | | | Catalog # | F4195-14 | | Applications | | | Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry.
