Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Immunogen	Human Fibrin fragment E (Fn-E) purified from a plasmin lysate of fibrin.
Specificity	IgG prior to conjugation was monospecific when analysed by immunoelectrophoresis. No reaction was seen with normal human serum and only one band was observed in plasma. Identity was verified using purified Fn-E. There is good reactivity to intact fibrinogen but no reaction was detected to purified Fibrin-D.
