The fibrinopeptides (A and B, from the alpha and beta chains of fibrinogen, respectively) serves to prevent fibrinogen from polymerising with itself. Following vascular injury, thrombin cleaves through the fibrinopeptides, which exposes the N terminal polymerisation sites, to allow formation of a blood clot.

Recommended Dilution	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma	Spleen cells from immunized Balb/c mice were fused with cells of the Sp2/0 myeloma cell line.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
