Catalog #F4210-10F
Source Recombinant Human FGF-acidic, expressed in E. coli.
Molecular weight 17.4kD
Endotoxin 0.1ng/ug (IEU/ug).
The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent proliferation of BAF3 cells expressing FGF receptors (measured by 3H-thymidine uptake) is <10ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of 1x10e5Units/mg.
Recommended DilutionOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile deionized water to a concentration 100ug/ml. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
