Fibroblast Growth Factor-basic (FGF-b or FGF-2) is a heparin binding growth factor which stimulates the proliferation of a wide variety of cells including mesenchymal, neuroectodermal and endothelial cells. FGF-b also exerts a potent angiogenic activity in vivo.

Recommended DilutionOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or ddH2O. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
