| FGF12 (Fibroblast growth factor 12) is a member of the FGF superfamily of molecules which currently stands at 22 members. The FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities, and are involved in a variety of biological processes, including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth, and invasion. FGF12 binds to IB2 (islet brain-2), a cellular kinase scaffold, and voltage gated sodium channels and also plays an important role in intracellular signaling and ion exchange. | | | Catalog # | F4212-15B | | Recombinant human FGF12 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. | | Source | Recombinant corresponding to aa1-181 of human FGF12 (His-tagged) expressed in E.coli. | | AA Sequence | MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MESKEPQLKG IVTRLFSQQG YFLQMHPDGT IDGTKDENSD YTLFNLIPVG LRVVAIQGVK | | ASLYVAMNGE GYLYSSDVFT PECKFKESVF ENYYVIYSST LYRQQESGRA WFLGLNKEGQ IMKGNRVKKT KPSSHFVPKP | | IEVCMYREQS LHEIGEKQGR SRKSSGTPTM NGGKVVNQDS T | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot.
