Specificity	Reacts with fibronectin in connectie tissues and vessels. Strongly stains matrix fibronectin in tissues. Animal biodistribution experiments have shown that after intravenous administration, F4215-04A localizes to tumor vessels where it binds to the underlying basement membrane. At the same time, the antigen recognized by F4215-04A is not accessible in normal tissues to circulating antibody indicating that this antibody can be used to target tumor vessels specifically in vivo. Does not recognize a soluble dimeric form of fibronectin (plasma fibronectin). Species Crossreactivity: Human and mouse.
