| The fibulins are a family of secreted glycoproteins that are components of elastic matrix fibers and basement membranes. Fibulin-1 is an extracellular matrix protein, which can adhere to endothelial cells and regulate their motility and proliferation. Fibulin-1 is overexpressed in estrogen receptor (ER)-positive ovarian carcinomas and several studies suggest a possible role for fibulin-1 as a tumor suppressor. Xie et al. described that fibulin-1 inhibits tumor growth in HT1080 cell lines by suppressing tumor angiogenesis and inducing apoptosis. | | | Catalog # | F4350-25 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry.
