| Flt1 (human 1338aa, rat 1336aa and mouse 1330aa), a putative receptor protein tyrosine kinase, is a receptor for VEGF and PLGF. Flt1 has also been described as VEGFR1 and Flk-2. It is a type 1 membrane protein and is expressed in normal lung, placenta, liver, kidney, heart, and brain but not in tumor cells. | | | Catalog # | F4599-02 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry and ELISA. Other applications have not been tested. | | Recommended Dilutions | Western Blot: 0.5-2.0ug/ml | | Flow Cytometry: 25ug/ml. Use 10-20ul to label 1-2x10e5 cells in a total volume of 200-250ul. Visualize with appropriate secondary antibodies. | | ELISA: 1:10,000-1:100,000 using 50-100ng of control peptide. | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG1 | | Clone No | 2Q232 | | Host | Mouse | | Source | Human | | Concentration | ~1mg/ml | | Form | Ssupplied as a liquid in PBS, 5% trehalose. | | Purity | Purified | | Immunogen | Human recombinant Flt1 (extracellular domain). Actual epitope recognized by this clone is between aa1-250 of human Flt1. | | Specificity | Recognizes human Flt1 (fms-like tyrosine kinase). No significant sequence homology is seen with human VEGF-R2/KDR or other related kinases. Species Crossreactivity: mouse | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
