Flt3-ligand (flk2-ligand), which stimulates the proliferation and colony formation of certain BM precursor cells including CD34+ cells, is a soluble 17.6kD polypeptide containing aa156 comprising the extracellular domain of the transmembrane flt3-ligand protein.
Applications
Suitable for use in Neutralization, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Neutralization: 4-6ng/ml will yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of human Flt3 Ligand (1ng/ml). ELISA (Sandwich): 0.5-2ug/ml using 100ul/well antibody solution in conjunction with biotylated anti-human Flt3 Ligand (F4600A) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 2000-4000pg/well of recombinant human Flt3 Ligand. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant human Flt3 Ligand is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Recombinant protein corresponding to human Flt3 Ligand expressed in E. coli.
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, pH 7.2. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O to a concentration of 0.1-1mg/ml.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human Flt3 Ligand.
