Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) is a small uoresent molecule that is commonly conjugated to antibodies for immuno uorescent cell labeling. In conjunction with anti-FITC antibodies, it can also be used as an epitope tag for detection and signal ampli cation.

ApplicationsSuitable for use in Immunoblot and Enzyme Immunoassays.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommened DilutionWestern Blot: 1:10-1:100 (Recommended substrate: BCIP).
ELISA: 1:100-1:500 (Recommended substrate: p-NPP ).
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
