| Fractalkine is a large cytokine protein containing multiple domains and is the only known member of the CX3C chemokine family. Fractalkine is produced as a long protein (with 373aa in humans) with an extended mucin-like stalk and a chemokine domain on top. The mucin-like stalk permits it to bind to the surface of certain cells. Fractalkine elicits its adhesive and migratory functions by interacting with the chemokine receptor CX3CR1. | | | Catalog # | F6070-06C | | Source | Recombinant corresponding to aa25-100 from human Fractalkine, fused to 6x His-tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
