| Members of the Frizzled family of proteins serve as receptors for the Wnt signaling pathway and are involved in a variety of developmental processes. Frizzled proteins each contain a divergent N-terminal signal peptide, a highly conserved extracellular cysteine-rich domain, a variable-length linker region, a seven-pass transmembrane domain and a variable-length C-terminal tail. |

| Catalog # | F6401-01F |
| Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. |
| Recommended Dilution | Western Blot: Use at 0.1-0.2ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect mouse Frizzled-1. The detection limit for rmFrizzled-1 is ~2ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing |
| conditions. In this format, this antibody shows approximately 5% crossreactivity with rmFrizzled-3, rmFrizzled-4, rmFrizzled-7, rmFrizzled-8 and less than 1% crossreactivity with rmFrizzled-6. |
| Immunohistochemistry: Detects Frizzled-1 in cells and tissues at 15ug/ml. |
| Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. |
| Storage and Stability | Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
