Members of the Frizzled family of proteins serve as receptors for the Wnt signaling pathway and are involved in a variety of developmental processes. Frizzled proteins each contain a divergent N-terminal signal peptide, a highly conserved extracellular cysteine-rich domain, a variable-length linker region, a seven-pass transmembrane domain and a variable-length C-terminal tail.

Applications	Suitable for use in Western Blot and Direct ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution	Western Blot: Use at 1-2ug/ml. Using a colorimetric detection system, the detection limit for rmFrizzled-8 is ~25ng/lane under reducing conditions.
	Direct ELISA: Use at 0.5-1.0ug/ml. The detection limit is ~5ng/well.
	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
