Members of the Frizzled family of proteins serve as receptors for the Wnt signaling pathway and are involved in a variety of developmental processes. Frizzled proteins each contain a divergent N-terminal signal peptide, a highly conserved extracellular cysteine-rich domain, a variable-length linker region, a seven-pass transmembrane domain and a variable-length C-terminal tail.

Applications	Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution	Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Detection limit for recombinant mouse Frizzled-8 is ~5ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions.

Storage and Stability	Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute with sterile Tris-buffered saline, pH 7.3 (20mM Trizma base, 150mM sodium chloride) containing 0.1% BSA. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
