| FZD8 is a Frizzled Receptor that mediates Wnt signaling and is involved in determining vertebrate axis and tissue polarity. FZD8 is expressed during embryonic development in forming and differentiating somites in mice. FZD8 expression has been reported in brain, heart, kidney, pancreas, and skeletal muscle.
