| FoxP3 is a 48kD forkhead transcription factor family member, which was originally identified as the novel protein scurfin. FoxP3 functions as a DNA binding protein that represses transcription, and is reported to be involved in the regulation of T cell activation, differentiation and homeostasis. FoxP3 is predominantly expressed within the nuclei of CD25 +CD4 + regulatory T cells (Tr). This population of FoxP3+CD25+CD4+ Tr cells plays an essential role in controlling autoimmunity. | | | Catalog # | F9050-12 | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot.
