| The GATA family of erythroid transcription factors is categorized by the ability to bind to the consensus sequence GATA. GATA transcription factors play important roles in the development of many organ systems, including hematopoietic, cardiovascular, reproductive, and gut-endoderm derived tissue. GATA transcription factor homologs in zebrafish are highly conserved in sequence, expression pattern, and function, making the zebrafish an appropriate model for the study of GATA factors. Experiments on Gata-3 in zebrafish indicate that it may play a role in cell differentiation, especially in early development of the nervous system. | | | Catalog # | G2021-49V | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
